Sam Missey: Live and Unplugged

This is the common scene around our house lately. In this picture he was lucky enough to get a hold of his big brother's guitar, but when that is hidden away from sticky two-year old hands, just about anything can be a guitar. He says," tar-mom." Matt will hand Sam a pick to try and help save the guitar from being injured, but anyone who plays the guitar knows that a pick goes on your lips, it has to just stick there on your bottom lip and hang while you play with a different pick. Even Sam knows this, if he finds a pick anywhere it goes straight in his mouth. In a few years after we have worked on some of his finesse,..... DaDa better scooch over. Psalm 33:3 Sing to Him a new song, play skillfully and shout for joy!!

Political Correctness

Elijah was dressing up in his Star Wars clone trooper costume. Him and Ben were going to go outside and play with their light sabers. Well, Elijah was having a difficult time getting his costume on, he had already taken it off and started over once because he had it on backwards the first time. Now he was starting to sweat as he tried to manuever the costume up his body. He was in a squating position and he was stuck. He was in between tears and a laugh when I heard him say," Hey Ben, I'm a midget."
Benjamin was growing very impatient with Elijah and I swear he answered him just like this,
"Eli, they aren't called midgets anymore they are called little people."
Where did I get these two from???

No, his dog didn't eat his homework. His cat just lays all over it, craving attention.

Mabel, our sweet little girl kitty just loves to plop herself down right in the middle of Ben's school work. She's like, "How dare you try and learn something when all I want is a little love."

Ben obliges until Mom gives Mabes the boot, back to chapter 12 review.
